It's best not to stare at the sun during an eclipse

The total Eclipse of the SUN is anticipated by many and the MOON is the supporting character. I made drawings in antisipating of what I will see ~ it will only last a few minutes ~ it could be cloudy. It will be a fast and furious show. The ECLIPSE traveled through my stomping grounds. Large numbers of people traveled such great distances to see this phenomena, which was amazing in itself. ~ a pilgrimage. The weather cooperated. After the Eclipse, I did a number of studies of the various phases. It was truly a facinating and wonderous event.
